Next time you go into a shop for a Twix and a Pepsi and the cashier asks you if you want a bag, say no!!!

Its been a thing of mine for quite a while and it seems that people are starting to take notice of the increasing problem of plastic bags. It sounds silly but it is thought that your average bag could take up to 1000 years to degrade and yet Tescos alone hand out 3 billion a year and Britain goes through more than 10 billion!!! this is an absolute environmental catastrophe waiting to happen, or more likely already happening.

Stop it, stop it now!!! It really is so simple, big companies are starting to do something about it with the likes of M & S charging for their bags as of May this year but i cant help thinking that if you dont offer them the people cant take them, maybe i’m being foolish but if you announced that as of a certain date shops will not be allowed by law to hand out bags then people will find another way to get their shopping home, sure there will be complaints but they wont be as serious as the complaints from me for one when we cant walk through a wood or swim in the sea without becoming tangled in plastic bags.
