Today i finally managed to get out to Joss Bay for a “surf” after 4 years of trying since we moved to CT. The Beanmeister bowled up in the AM and we headed out to find messy slush barely distinguishable as waves which suited our amateur novice level of surfing down to a T.

I was sporting gloves and boots which went a little way to help stave off the bitter November water but Bean went hardcore and ice cream headaches were abound!! Funniest moment was turning round just in time to see Bean get smashed in the back of the head by a fat lump of whitewater.

Anyhoo, here’s hoping thats the first of many.
